Jen Modarelli
Owner and Principal
In a way, being a mother and an entrepreneur are kinda similar, yes? Neither job comes with a training manual, and every year brings something new. A while back, I discovered that my spirit animal is a badger. Disappointed at first (I had hoped for something a little sexier), I soon saw the connection: persistence is my middle name. I work hard and play hard. I trust to a fault. And I never say never (except when it comes to eating mayonnaise and killing spiders).
Kim D'Amico
Director of Digital Marketing
White Horse is truly a bunch of freaks and geeks and smarties, so I feel like I'm amongst my kind. I'm never without some type of connected device and am living the way everyone should-with a dog. I like shoes, boots, denim and fashion in general. I strongly believe that leopard print is a neutral that can be worn with anything, and my favorite outing is Sunday brunch with the girls (and many mimosas).
Cheryl Metzger
Director of Communications
Words, words, words! They're my passion. Just put me in a quiet room with a computer or some paper and my colored pens, and I'm happy. Oh, and my dog for company! Oh, and some chocolate. And maybe some wine...
Rodger Bridges
Sr. Interactive Art Director
My design education is a whorl of xerox toner, Xacto® knives, typography and timingbeing a participating witness for the birth of the web as a medium for graphic design. I love dirty/obliterated textures and clean/minimalist grid work with equally devoted abandon. I'm a deep-diving tinkerer who loves narrowing in on creative solutions, particularly by the light of the moon.
Josh Millman
Studio Manager
I am a recovering rock 'n rollerokay, I still go on a bender every once in a while and perform with my band as lead singer and guitarist. But I also take time to rest my voice from belting out songs in order to do voiceover gigs; in fact, the voice for all of the Nintendo Wii sports games...that's me!
Amy Knobbs
Director of User Experience
Hip and edgy, with a big splash of geek: that's me. No matter what I'm doing, I rock my quirky personality and boldly blend it with serious drive and creativity. In fact, I've been doing it in UX for over 17 years. And though I have a passion for technology, unplugging and spending time outdoors with my dogs and family fuels me!
Sierra Chaudhary
Executive Assistant to CEO
A self-professed convivialist, I love people! I was blessed with the gift of gab. Professionally and personally my title reads: operations guru and cultural attaché.
Andrea Dunphy
Project Manager
Problem solving, tinkering with tools, and figuring out how things work are what make me tick. I'm hands-on, not afraid of a little dirt or elbow grease. I've been a machinist, a salsa dancer, a skydiver, a seamstress, and a mom of three. I love a seedy bar, am unable to resist Karaoke, and dig a good game of pool. Any takers?
Lara Haehle
Marketing & PR; Project Manager
Ever hear of musical artists like Oasis and Rage Against the Machine? I helped launch their careers; I love music. Now, I'm in love with all things digital. I also adore my dog, Leeloo (the Fifth Element) and cheesy pop culture references. You know, working at White Horse is like being on the A Team because I love it when a plan comes together.
Mike Willey
Sr. Software Engineer
Under the radar, that's my style. I speak ASP.NET, SQL Server, C# and VB.NET., XML/XSLT, JavaScript, Ektron, SiteCore, Lucene and SOLR. Yoga and cycling keep me sharp, but writing a bio is not in my job description.
Candace Callaway
Controller
You can give me anything from a pencil and paper to a beautiful piece of glass, wood, or copper, and I can create something beautiful out of it. I have energy in abundance and try to keep it to one glass of wine. I am loyal and fierce, and I recommend paying invoices on time.
Brad Bertram
Sr. Interface Developer
I'm a White Horse long-timer, (like from the turn of this century). Keeping up with the web and all that goes on around here keeps me on my toes. The web is ever-changing and it just keeps getting better.
Shaun Anderson
Sr. Systems Administrator
Segway master, drink cart administrator, and personal technology guru. Whenever hardware or software is on the fritz, I come to the rescue with a smile and a quip. However, my motto is "Rome wasn't built in a day." Cheers.
Wade Oliver
Engineer
I'm not averse to shameless promotion for my Johnny Cash tribute coming soon to a venue near you. I also play upright for groups such as Twagshifters, Nihilistic Robots, and Empty Heads; watch for us. Engineering's the perfect complement to my true vocation.
Gabrielle Penaluna
User Experience Designer
All I need are a pair of headphones, computer (preferably mac), and sports updates. I am truly grateful to be doing what I love and to be working at a company where everyone else shows they love to be here. I am blessed! I love design, being inspired by new ways of thinking, and cheese. Cheddar to be exact. I solve problems too.
